A competent entrepreneur has
competencies that allow him or her to operate successful in a market.
Successful means that the entrepreneur is able to apply the cycle of
planning
& control in a correct way.
Business Class is about simple
trading companies who all sell the same product. Each company has at the
most 9 competitors. Each team not only has to shape its marketing, but must
as well perform their financial accounting. On the Welcome screen more information is to be
found about the set-up of the game. Business Class is the follow up of
Economy Class.
Once you are in
the program a storyline is presented to you. That way you are always
informed in time about the upcoming decisions you have to take without
having to read and remember all the important information beforehand.
General information about the companies is to be found on the Information
screen
Especially in
small companies a competent entrepreneur must perform in quite many roles,
like exploring markets, business planning, financial accounting, reporting
and reflecting on the whole cycle of planning & control. To perform the
function of the entrepreneur a team must divide the roles and discuss the
relations between them. On the Roles screen suggestions are made for
the division of roles.
Extra support is
given by the frequently asked questions in the screens with FAQ lists.
These questions are not invented by a programmer of developer, but based on
real questions students have put forward to the webmaster. Moreover, quite a
lot of questions are taken from a similar game called Trade Company,
especially questions about sales. New

can be acquired via internet. Some links are mentioned on the Links
screen, but undoubtedly many more interesting sites are available.
For those who have already a
login name and password the entrance to the virtual world of Business Class
is made available via the last button of the row at left.
